just back from watched this movie on cinema..
well, let's talk about this movie..
i find this movie kinda very inspiring movie..
nice movie actually..
i just feel that, it's too pity to not make Lintang's story as a major story..
my friend said better to read the novel instead..
but for people who never read the novel like me, that's quite good.
nice picture..nice filming..
but not for the plot..
it's too long to figure out what is the producer going to tell us..haizz..
especially, the one which is the children are going to the island to find the 'dukun' one..it doesn't have a clear idea..i believe if it took out from this movie, it won't be influence this movie much..
i also find that this producer wanna to put a lot of great sections on the novel..but it's just too much..too crowded..
for some sections, they are really funny..like the first time Ikal look at Aling's hand (nails actually..haha), the one who admire on 'Samson' body, when Ikal is using his dad's hair jell, when Mahar introduce jazz music to his friend, etc..
the touched sections when their principal died and when Lintang have to leave the school.. (i cried on this one..he5..and joey, i'll remember your big grin..-_-")
overall, this is a nice movie indeed.
